GIVE BACK TUESDAY | SANDY HOOK PROMISE

south_lane_bistro_give_back_tuesday_sandy_hook_promise.gifSouth Lane Bistro is a proud supporter of local organizations, giving back to those who help make Connecticut great. Thank you for dining with us on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, for the Give Back Tuesday event that supported Sandy Hook Promise. Ten percent of all proceeds from the evening are going to their fine organization.

Sandy Hook Promise is a national non-profit organization founded and led by several family members whose loved ones were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012.

The organization was founded to prevent gun-related deaths due to crime, suicide and accidental discharge so that no other parent experiences the senseless, horrific loss of their child.

Over 884,000 people have made the "promise" to protect children from gun violence to date – as part of the organization's approach to build a national movement of parents, schools and community organizations engaged and empowered to deliver gun violence prevention programs and mobilize for the passage of sensible state and national policy.
