South Lane Bistro believes in supporting local organizations, and gives back to those who help make Guilford great. Thank you for coming by Tuesday, June 10, 2014, for the first Give Back Tuesday. Ten percent of all proceeds are going to the Guilford Preservation Alliance, a local non-profit group whose mission is to preserve and protect the built and natural heritage of the town of Guilford. Incorporated in 1980, the Alliance has been active in promoting the preservation of the diverse buildings, landscapes and streetscapes that contribute to the quality of the town of Guilford. The Alliance's work is wide ranging – from sponsoring public education forums on preservation to providing financial assistance to worthy restoration projects.
