GIVE BACK TUESDAY | PILGRIM FELLOWSHIP
South Lane Bistro is a proud supporter of local organizations, giving back to those who help make Connecticut great. Thank you for dining with us on Tuesday, March 19, 2019, for the Give Back Tuesday event in support of the First Congregational Church Pilgrim Fellowship in Guilford. Ten percent of all proceeds from the evening will go to their fine organization.
By recognizing, appreciating and embracing that all people are created differently, Pilgrim Fellowship gathers to create an environment of empowerment through direct action. Local high school students from multiple faiths meet weekly for meaningful discussions and activities – from community service to fundraising which benefits their annual mission trips. These trips can be life-changing for the teens, as they journey to places where people are experiencing extreme poverty, homelessness and loss of hope. The Pilgrim Fellowship helps by volunteering their time and talents for home repair, building, painting, cleaning, cooking, serving and bringing hope to those less fortunate.
